The tour will be led by Mike Logsdon, Director of Facilities. We're excited for this behind-the scenes tour of a very unique facility, including the building automation that controls the desert and rain forest climates in the glasshouse. After the one-hour tour, everyone is welcome to enjoy a Garden Summer Wednesday, which includes cocktails for purchase on the Geis Terrace. The facility is open until 9 p.m. and you're welcome to walk the Garden.
There is no fee to participate in this tour. Visitors should park in their underground garage and tell the security guard on the P1 level that they are there for the 2030 District tour. Parking will be validated and you will be instructed where to meet. (Click Here to Register)
Here is a link to more information about Garden Summer Wednesdays and another great event called Gourmets in the Garden which begins at 6:00 PM that evening. If you'd like to stay for Gourmets in the Garden, you'll need to register separately on their website.
