Indians and FirstEnergy make a green-energy pact for Progressive Field

Wind is going to go a long way at Progressive Field, and it has nothing to do with gusts of air that help to power a home-run ball.

The Indians and FirstEnergy Corp. on Friday, April 1, announced an extension of the companies’ partnership. The enhanced deal includes a green-energy pact in which the Tribe will buy green power to fuel their dramatically renovated 23-year-old ballpark.
